Upon fulfillment of my education, I joined AIIMS as a yoga instructor. In my 18 months of working there, I gained an in-depth understanding of the complexities of the health care sector. I also worked at St. John School as a Physical Education and Yoga teacher for a year. It turned out to be an enriching experience as it allowed me to deal with a younger lot of people in a highly professional setting. I am mindful that to thrive in a competitive marketplace, apart from my knowledge, I would need specialized skills in logistics. And that's mainly why I worked in a corporate company for a year. It familiarised me with the intricate processes of the medical world and how to communicate effectively with people from different backgrounds- crucial skills required to work in the service industry.
